The whole mounted on strong paper sheets themselves mounted on tabs in 3 volumes strong in-plano of green grief with smooth backs, some epiderminations and snags. He continued on his father's path, launched the magazine Le Panorama in 1895, managed for a time Les Annales Politiques et Littéraires, and above all directed the newspaper L'Illustration (1904-1944) for forty years.
