France - Order of the Legion of Honor, Second Empire, gold and enamel officer's star (hair, tiny chips), eagle head hallmark, elliptical rosette ribbon, in the original case of the house Ouizille Lemoine. With an extract of the decree of appointment, the letter of announcement of the Grand Chancellery dated August 21, 1860 and the patent printed on vellum in the name of "Tardieu, Ambroise Auguste, member of the advisory committee of public hygiene", dated August 16, 1860 and signed Napoleon (scratch). Attached a batch of patents, some attributed to Ambroise Tardieu: Doctor of Medicine, 1843; appointment as physician to the Council of State, 1855; Society of Medical Hydrology of Paris, 1854 and 1961; Anatomical Society, 1840; Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium, 1863 and 1873; Medical-Surgical Society of the Canton of Zurich, 1845; New York Medical-Legal Society, 1872; others to his son, bachelor 1868, bachelor of law 1871, licentiate of law 1872, doctor of law 1878; and a patent of the order of Simon Bolivar of Venezuela 1889. 62 x 41 mm, gross weight: 19.3 g France, circa 1860.
