Cross of the partisans of the count of Chambord, type in the shape of Latin cross anchored in silver enamelled blue and white uniface, small circular center on which are brought back the arms of France crowned surrounded of the legend "?DIEU PROTEGE LA FRANCE?", the angled branches of flower of lily are charged with the quotation "?LA PAROLE EST A LA FRANCE & L'HEURE A DIEU?", articulated bélière representing a lily charged with a white enamelled H (tiny chips). 83 x 53 mm France, circa 1871-1883. The famous formula which adorns the branches comes from a manifesto letter of the Count of Chambord dated May 8, 1871, words which he took back on February 25, 1872 in Antwerp at the time of a reception of legitimists of the North of France.
