CHINA - Qianlong period (1736-1795) Pair of porcelain ginger pots decorated in blue underglaze and green enamels with two dragons chasing the sacred pearl among the clouds, the shoulder decorated with eight Buddhist emblems and lingzhi frieze. On the reverse, the six-character mark in zhuanshu of Qianlong. The neck is encircled with gilt bronze chased by two dragons chasing the sacred pearl among the clouds. (One of the bottom pierced, a lid missing, chips and cracks). Total height with cover : 23,5 cm Later gilded bronze bases openworked with lotus flowers and incised with flowers (one base pierced). The condition of the porcelain under the frame is not guaranteed. Provenance : French family collection, by descent.
