CHINA - Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Large gilded bronze statue of Longnü (acolyte of Guanyin) standing on a base in the form of a double inverted lotus, holding an offering tray with a pearl. The dress is finely incised with flowers, the fabric hiding her hands adorned with the eight precious objects. The headdress finely chiseled and gathered in two buns. (Small holes). Height : 52 cm Provenance : - Brought back from China in the early 20th century. - By descent to the present owner.
